Sarah Martinez

Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Her practice includes representing employees before agencies and in litigation, in all types of employment matters including civil rights violations in the workplace.

While earning her law degree, Sarah worked as a full-time paralegal with Community Legal Services (CLS) in Philadelphia, PA in the Social Security Income (SSI) Unit. Upon graduation, Sarah transitioned into a staff attorney role in CLS’ Health and Independence (H&I) Unit where she represented clients before state and federal agencies, to facilitate access to and to maintain eligibility for federal and state administered public benefits. In addition to individual client representation at CLS, Sarah honed a specialty in non-disability Social Security issues and provided CLE training on this topic on a statewide level, as well as participated in nationwide advocacy to improve the Social Security benefits program for claimants.

Sarah brings to her career as an employment attorney a passion for making clients whole after they have experienced unjust and discriminatory treatment.

When she is not at work, you can find her trying out restaurants in the city, building adult Lego sets, and reading.
