Biography
At Karpf Karpf & Cerutti, Thomas litigates a myriad of employment related matters, including discrimination, whistleblower, retaliation and wage and hour disputes. He also zealously advocates for clients in connection with agency proceedings, including unemployment proceedings, and federal/state agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. Prior to joining Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, Thomas was running the contested litigation department. He handled numerous trial proceedings and obtained many successful trial outcomes for his clients.
Following graduation from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, Thomas was the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Mellon in the Court of Common Pleas in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In this role as Judge Mellon's Law Clerk, Thomas was involved in a wide range of cases, ranging from complex civil matters to Family Court. During his time at Villanova, Thomas also interned at the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Bucks County Public Defender's Office, and interned for the in-house legal team of two public corporations. Thomas is a lifelong resident of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
