Biography
Ari R. Karpf is a zealous trial advocate concentrating his practice in many facets of employment and corporate law, including, discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, unemployment compensation, WARN Act violations, shareholder disputes, and on a select basis, commercial litigation.
Mr. Karpf graduated summa cum laude from International College of Fort Myers, Florida. He graduated magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was awarded the President's Achievement Award, honors for outstanding advancement of the Thomas Cooley Law Journal, was recognized as a distinguished appeals magistrate, and received several certificates of merit for outstanding scholastic performance.
Mr. Karpf is licensed in the State Courts of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and in federal courts including but not limited to: the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Karpf has been co- or lead-counsel in many state and federal trials throughout his career, and he has lectured in many settings as well as authored extensive employment-law related literature. He has taken great pride in mentoring newer attorneys and ensuring that the firm provides significant pro bono representation each year to those in need of help in surrounding communities.
